Aufgaben

• Expression, purification and quality control of recombinant proteins in particular antibodies (affinity
chromatography, SEC, SDS-PAGE and Western-blot..)
• Executing basic techniques for recombinant protein production: cloning, DNA prep, growth and
maintenance of E.coli laboratory strains, mammalian cell culture etc.
• Functional characterization of proteins using various methods (e.g. flow cytometry, ELISA)
• Independent planning and evaluating of experiments
• General duties and responsibility for equipment

Qualifikation

• Completed CTA/PTA/BTA/MTA studies or degree in a biological field or comparable qualification
• Ideally 3+ years relevant practical experience
• Good molecular biology skills
• Good knowledge of E.coli and mammalian cell expression systems, ability to work in sterile environment with sensitive samples
• Good MS Office and computer skills
• Team-oriented
• Excellent English skills
• Advantageous: Experience in protein purification and quality control, Knowledge in the preparation and execution of multicolor flow cytometry assays, experience with cell-based functional assays (in particular cytotoxicity assays with primary material)
